Over the past decade writing shows meant for Lucilla Giagnoni, investigate, dig around issues that have always plagued her. Every show was a painful moment together and happy growth, which, as expected, more than finding answers has raised new questions each time.
"Virgin Mother": what is the possible way to get out of hell? "Big Bang" because it closes each canto of Dante's Divine Comedy with the same word, stars?
"Apocalypse": if the stars show us the beginnings, which will be our End?
The Book of Revelation ends with a sentence at the same time mysterious and powerful: "Who Thirst is, who wants to let him take the Water of Life."
It is an indication, a hint, a stimulus, a proposal for a big change?
The Giagnoni writes: "I understand that it really means. It speaks of those who thirst, for those who are still able to have Desire to move in a direction that provides vital evolution. It speaks of those who will, and therefore the ability to take not to expect. There is talk of Gratuity of an exchange economy, and therefore Relationship between Humans and revolutionary inconceivable to us today.
There is talk of water, which is what we are made and where does the Vita. We talk about life. I would like to call the new show "Ecce Homo" Behold the Man.
It is the phrase that is attributed to Pilate to show the crowd a Saving Silverman Jesus scourged, tortured, reduced to the lowest level of the human being: a shred of flesh and blood with a crown of thorns, masked, in jest, by King World, but with Death printed in the face.
If we were to say today, "Behold the Man", what would we see?
I do not know yet, but maybe I'm starting a new trilogy, a "Trilogy of Humanity."
"Ecce Homo" is an original drama of which I am the author and sole performer. "
The technique is that of the theatrical monologue and alternates between moments of poetic interpretation in narrative passages in direct communication to the public.
The route includes a phase of research and study in which the author-actress will be joined by scholars of the biblical text, scientists, collaborators writing, followed by a period of trials in which the first drama in the form of cloth, as often happens in the monologues of narrative, is put "test" in front of a selected audience of students and friends are invited to build their listening and their response to the organic breath of the show. The first stage presentation of "studies" is therefore also the process of writing and research. This is followed by the debut and toured in theater with a preference for finding non-theatrical spaces such as churches, natural places or places of dense symbolic and spiritual meaning.
With the collaboration of artists who have followed the path of the "Virgin Mother," "Big Bang" and "Revelation", in collaboration with the writing of Maria Rosa Pantè, with the sound and original music by Paolo Pizzimenti, lights Raped maximum that an integral part of the drama, have the character to create a performance model always reproducible in the theater and the potential to reinvent highlighting the peculiarities of each different non-theatrical space.
