CopperstarRepertory Co. proudly opens its fourth season in partnership with and as the residenttheatre company of the Higley Center for the Performing Arts with BroadwayBuddies, their annual fundraising gala, presented in partnership withthe Higley Center for the Performing Arts.

Alongwith a delightful show and elegant reception, the gala will honor individualsand corporations with the CommunitySTARS Awards (Sharing The Applause, Recognizing Service). Copperstar isaccepting nominations from the community for businesses, volunteers, patronsand sponsors that are exemplary in their support of the arts in our community.

This sophisticated evening will feature a special performance of BROADWAYBUDDIES,an amazing performance featuring top-notch Broadway performers from around theUS and some of our Arizona favorites including Grey Romande, Kristen Drathman, Mary-Jo Okawa, Steve Wertz and more will celebrate the amazing return of Copperstar's resident Music Director, SamHenderson.

The special event will begin with a delightful appetizer and dessert reception,fantastic show, and a sneak peek at the 2011-2012 Copperstar Season. This willbe an evening you will long remember!

Proceedsfrom this important event support our education and outreach programs as wellas our four main-stage productions. Festivities begin at 7pm on August 20 atthe Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert.
