School's out for summer, but High Dramma is still in session with our first July show ever! Beat the heat at the air-conditioned Walking Fish Theater and enjoy the final show in High Dramma's fourth season in Kensington, tonight, July 12th and July 13th and 14th at 8:00, and July 15th at 5:00. High Dramma will be wrapping up its season with all the usual crazy sketches, hilarious characters and banjo playing you've come to expect, so come on out, have a drink and find out why you DON'T want to piss off a mobbed-up Mom, what bath salts will REALLY make you do, and watch how even real life isn't immune from the effects of Instagram, this month, with High Dramma!
By rocking their blue and red eyewear, the audience will experience HIGH DRAMMA SKETCH COMMEDY enhanced with the third dimension! This month's sketches include a girl and her ukulele (that tiny Hawaiian guitar you know you like!), Superman not understanding the phrase, "Gone for the Holidays," and TLC's latest reality show: Gang Bang Dads. Plus! Live music!
"I've gone to their shows for nearly two years and they always have great writing and solid performances. I won't forget the improved rendition of "The Freshman," or Jason parting a pile of belly-hair to do a body shot. The stuff I hear from their shows usually follows me to work when I'm repeating them and getting that pitiful second-hand laugh," hyped audience member, Mr. Zack Mentz, 26 of Southampton.
The group features a cast of seven professional actors and writers: D.C. Fisher, Kelly McCaughan, Todd Shaeffer, Jason Singer, Curt Reidy, Jackie Wolfson and fresh Beaver, Sarah Braun.
