As BroadwayWorld previously reported, School of Rock-The Musical, will soon have its World Premiere on Broadway. Previews will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6. Over the weekend, hundreds of musically gifted children gathered at the Winter Garden for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. An open casting call was held, at which hundreds of kids tried to rock, whale, strum and drum their way to Broadway glory on the stage of the Winter Garden Theatre (former home, for nearly 18 record-shattering years, toAndrew Lloyd Webber's Cats). This weekend, The Hampton Roads Show in Norfolk featured a special Broadway edition of Live Music Friday and welcomed THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA tour's Katie Travis (Christine Daae) and Storm Lineberger (Raoul). Watch their performance below!

Over the course of the past few weeks, Flat Cosette has made her way around the world with fans at their favorite spots or on vacation. Today, Flat Cosette officially nominated herself for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, in return challenging Flat Stanley, Flat Stella and Les Miserables Broadway's own Cosette, Samantha Hill.
