The Muny Cast party is celebrating its 2019 summer production of Guys and Dolls with the reunion of cast members Ben Davis, Kendra Kassebaum, Jordan Gelber, Zoe Vonder Haar, Kevin Cahoon, Orville Mendoza, Jared Gertner, Gordon Greenberg, Patrick O'Neill and Lorin Latarro!

But first, the episode starts off with a look at The Wedding Singer, based on the popular Adam Sandler film. It starred newcomer Stephen Lynch and joining him in the role of Julie, the waitress with a heart of gold, was one Broadway's loveliest leading ladies, Laura Benanti. The musical features a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin and a book by Begluin and Tim Herlihy. Rounding out the cast was Kevin Cahoon, Matthew Saldivar, Amy Spanger, Rita Gardner, Felicia Finley and Richard H. Blake. Benanti told Ridge, 'I'm really proud of it. It's nice to play the girl next door. I have never done that. This is really my first brand new Broadway musical. So, I have learned a lot.'

Continuing a Halloween-season tradition, Bucks County Playhouse will revive its popular production of Richard O'Brien's 'The Rocky Horror Show' live on stage beginning Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 27.

Dallas Theater Center presents the world premiere of MOONSHINE: That Hee Haw Musical, a new musical comedy with music and lyrics by award-winning songwriters Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally and a book by Robert Horn. Second Stage Theatre's opened Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE, directed by Kate Whoriskey and starring Norbert Leo Butz and Elizabeth Reaser, last night, February 13. W.E. is coming to theaters on February 23, 2012 from The Weinstein Company. The historical drama was directed by Madonna and was written by Madonna and Alek Keshishian. The film stars Abbie Cornish, Natalie Dormer, Oscar Isaac, Richard Coyle, Andrea Riseborough, James D'Arcy, Natalie Gal, Annabelle Wallis, Laurence Fox, James Fox, Ronan Vibert and David Harbour.

PCPA Theaterfest will present the American Premiere of My Fairytale, a musical about Hans Christian Andersen directed by Scott Schwartz. My Fairytale began previews in Santa Maria August 12 and will run through August 20 before openning in Solvang's Festival Theater running from August 26 through September 25, 2011.

On May 17, 2010 Versatile Broadway performer John Bolton, Tony award-winning actor Jim Dale, renown musical conductor Aaron Gandy and Tony Walton, Jennifer Evans, Kevin Cahoon, Jessica Grove, Noah Racey and Annika Boras partook in The Theatre Museum's 2010 Awards Ceremony. The Awards Gala, which took place at the New York Players Club, was directed by Tony Walton. Aaron Gandy served as Musical Director.

Recently, Upright's Chris Isaacson attended the opening night of 'Minsky's' at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

'Minsky's' opens February 6, 2009, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and continues through March 1 (previews began January 21).

Minsky's is a big, racy, new musical comedy set in a time when entertainment was about legs and laughs, and you had to push the limits to keep the customers buying tickets. A rollicking backstage story, set in Prohibition Era New York City.
