AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 will kick off on Sunday, January 22, 2012 following the NFC Championship Playoff Game on FOX.

DanceOn, the YouTube partnership channel dedicated to dance videos, released their exclusive interview with former American Idol contestant Todrick Hall (Memphis, The Color Purple). Todrick discusses what inspired his recent audition video for Glee, and the process of putting the shoot together. American Idol contestants Janell Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Munoz and Tyler Grady were the first four cut from the ninth season of the competition. In the video below, Entertainment Tonight talks to the foursome about their journey on the reality show.

AMERICAN IDOL's Golden Ticket Interviews features 19-year-old student Carmen Turner who hails from Baxley, Georgia. In the interview piece, Turner speaks about her own idol, Kelly Clarkson, and her role as Dance Captain for her high school's show choir. Turner auditioned for AMERICAN IDOL with a friend, both hopeful to make it past the first audition, but it was Turner who eventually wowed the judges and landed a Golden Ticket.
