By popular demand, The York Theatre Company, and producing partners Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, have added a special performance of the acclaimed new game show for musical theater lovers Tune in Time. Hosted by Emily McNamara, with music direction by Nate Buccieri, and Sheila Head as the annoyingly insistent timekeeper, the special performance is set for TOMORROW, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peters (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Underscore Theatre Company Artistic Director Alex Higgin-Houser and Executive Director Laura Stratford announced today the lineup for 2014's Chicago Musical Theatre Festival. Created to showcase Chicago's burgeoning field of musical theatre creators, Underscore's festival features eight world-premiere musicals.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma today announced casting and production teams for its annual summer shows, featuring new and returning national talent, including Steve Blanchard, George Dvorsky, Dee Hoty, Victoria Huston-Elem, Meredith Inglesby, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Danny Rothman, Emily Skinner, Chuck Wagner, and more. All four productions- LES MISERABLES, DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID, MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC - will perform at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the New York premiere of A SECOND CHANCE on Tuesday, March 18. Directed by Jonathan Butterell with book, music, and lyrics by Ted Shen, this new musical will run through Sunday, April 13 in the Shiva Theater, with an official press opening on Sunday, March 30.

This often funny and sometimes deeply moving tale follows a group of New Yorkers during the 1965 blackout. The New Voices Collective will present NEW VOICES, NEW BLUE: A Celebration of Songs by Yale Musical Theatre Writers, Past and Present on Monday, April 15, at 8:00 p.m. The concert will explore work by some of Yale's most exciting and famous alumni, as well as current composers in the Shen Musical Theatre writing program at Yale University.
