On December 2 and 3 at 7:30 PM guest conductor Hans Graf returns to conduct a dramatic and emotional repertoire of classical favorites on the stage of Abravanel Hall. Beethoven's soulful Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed with internationally acclaimed guest pianist Jeffrey Kahane.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by seven-time Grammy winner and piano superstar Emanuel Ax on December 3 at 8 p.m. and December 4 at 2 p.m. Both concerts will be lead by Music Director Eric Jacobsen and will be held at Bob Carr Theater, 401 W. Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida.

The 2016-17 season marks the Emerson String Quartet's 40th Anniversary -- a major milestone for this ground-breaking ensemble, named "America's greatest quartet" by TIME Magazine, which has earned its place in the pantheon of the classical music world.

 In their one and only New York recital as a duo this season, violinist Jennifer Koh and pianist Shai Wosner perform a range of repertoire from their nearly ten years of musical collaboration. The program reflects their shared commitment to music of the past and present, comprising three violin sonatas-Beethoven's G major (Op. 96), Debussy's G minor (L. 140), and Faure's A major (Op. 13)-and two contemporary works, Gyorgy Kurtag's Tre Pezzi (1979) and Kaija Saariaho's Tocar (2010).
