Chris Botti & Joshua Bell Coming to Dr. Phillips Center; Tickets on Sale Friday

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces world-renowned and critically acclaimed Grammy Award-winning musicians Chris Botti and Joshua Bell, together alongside a full orchestra for a one-night only virtuoso event on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 8 p.m. in the Walt Disney Theater. Tickets for the performance start at $65.00 and may be purchased by visiting the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are also available by calling 844.513.2014 or online at drphillipscenter.org. Online and phone ticket purchases include handling fees.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale, led by Artistic Director Grant Gershon, presents two performances of Verdi's towering Requiem, a work National Public Radio calls a 'thrilling opera in disguise,' with acclaimed guest soloists Amber Wagner, soprano, Michelle DeYoung, mezzo soprano, Issachah Savage, tenor, and Morris Robinson, bass, today, January 30, 2 pm, and tomorrow, Sunday, January 31, 2016, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. A stunningly theatrical staple of the choral repertoire, Verdi's work is a tumultuous, tortured, terrifying spectacle that has thrilled audiences since its debut in 1874.

The UW World Series presents the Seattle debut of one of Cuba's leading contemporary dance troupes, Malpaso Dance Company, performing at Meany Hall on the University of Washington campus from March 3-5. The program features live music by Grammy Award-winning Cuban-American composer Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble.

The Branford Marsalis Quartet was formed in 1986 and quickly raised the bar for other ensembles of its kind.
