BIO Channel brings 'Celebrity Ghost Stories,' it's most watched original series of all time, back to showcase more celebrities as they share their true, personal encounters with the paranormal and premieres the all-new series, 'My Ghost Story' showcasing real people who captured their paranormal experience on camera. 'Celebrity Ghost Stories' returns for a second season featuring 18 one-hour episodes on Saturday, July 17 at 10PM ET/ 11PM PT, followed up by the series premiere of 'My Ghost Story' at 10PM ET/11PM PT.

BIO Channel Records Two Most-Watched Back-To-Back Quarters In Network History

BIO Channel recorded its two most-watched quarters in network history in fourth quarter 2009 and first quarter 2010. The network also, for the first-time ever, hit the 100,000 mark in the target adults 25-54 demo in first quarter 2010. On the heels of this success, BIO continues to increase its investment in original programming with the addition of three new series - including a second series from Emmy winner William Shatner - and four news specials to join its slate of five returning original series and 50 new hours of the Emmy-award winning 'Biography' series in 2010, it was announced today by Bob DeBitetto, President and General Manager of A&E Network and BIO Channel.

The North American tour of MARY POPPINS celebrated its one year anniversary yesterday having opened in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre on March 25, 2009. During the past year the production has generated over $52 million at the box office and welcomed more than 762,000 theatergoers in eight cities, making it the best-selling and most attended new touring Broadway show in 2009.

After flying high in Los Angeles for 13-weeks, MARY POPPINS folded her umbrella at the Ahmanson Theatre for the final time on Sunday, February 7. During the premiere engagement, the production played 100 performances, entertained over 188,000 theater patrons, grossed $13.7 million at the box office and achieved the milestone of being Los Angeles' highest grossing theatrical event in 2009.

It's hard to pinpoint the exact moment when Florence Henderson became a household name. It was certainly through the media of television, but was it her numerous appearances on the then-popular variety shows? Perhaps it was because of the proliferation of commercials she did for Polident and Wesson Oil; the latter in which she helped coin the phrase 'Wessonality'. He has made one sole mortgage payment in over a year, and has declared bankruptcy to avoid selling the playhouse in August. Similar stories are appearing across the country as owners struggle to maintain their businesses in this economy, but Miller's case seems a bit more complicated than that: this is his third bankruptcy since 1992.

John Kenley, Legendary Producer Passes Away at 103

Legendary producer, John Kenley, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2009. He was 103.
Over 60 years ago, John Kremchek appeared with Martha Graham as a dancer-acrobat in John Murray Anderson's Greenwich Village Follies. Mr Anderson told young Kremchek to change his name to Kenley where it has remained ever since.
