Leading theatrical licensor, Music Theatre International (MTI), creators of the MTI Broadway Junior Collection (featuring 30 and 60-minute musicals designed for young performers) is launching a slate of children's musicals based on Mary Pope Osborne's beloved Magic Tree House book series. The books are number one New York Times bestsellers - more than 100 million copies have been sold in North America alone. The series has been translated into many languages and is available in more than 100 countries around the world.
United Solo to Begin Fourth Season at New York City's Theatre Row, October 3

A lineup of over 120 solo performers from six continents and 23 countries will present their shows during the fourth annual world's largest solo theatre festival, October 3 - November 24 at Theatre Row on 42nd Street. Twenty-five shows are currently sold out, with others set to reach that status over the next several days. Compared to the inaugural season three years ago, United Solo expanded its schedule four times, from two to eight weeks, gaining the status of a resident company at Theatre Row.

The Bionic Bunnies of Bass are about to launch an all out assault on hi-fi systems everywhere, releasing their 4th studio album on digital platforms starting October 1st. The Salt Lake City Comic Con, which runs from Thursday, September 5 through Saturday the 7th, is is proving to be an impressive affair, with guests the likes of William Shatner, Dirk Benedict, Adam West, and Ray Park - and these are to name but a few. And among these guests will also be Las Vegas' very own EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL. Ash and the Gang have been invited to join in the fun at Utah's first comic convention. They will be taking pics with fans and other celebrities at their booth near ARTIST ALLEY, giving away tickets to the show throughout the convention, presenting a panel on zombies in pop culture, selling convention-exclusive merchandise, and they'll even be presenting a family-friendly version 30 minute sneak peek of the productions.

The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) presents its 23rd Annual Simply Shakespeare benefit reading of 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona,' September 25, 2013 at The Broad Stage, Santa Monica. The evening will feature a star-studded cast including Sir Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and William Shatner. Additional participants will be announced. Simply Shakespeare features a hilarious and entertaining evening of impromptu Shakespeare and song. All proceeds from the event support the SCLA and its arts based veterans employment and youth employment programs for inner-city youth and arts education in local schools.
