The Attic Theater Company presents Preston Sturges' classic screwball comedy STRICTLY DISHONORABLE at The Flea Theater (41 White Street, Tribeca). Directed by Laura Braza, STRICTLY DISHONORABLE will be performed Tuesday, July 22nd through Sunday, August 10th, 2014. The Press Opening is Saturday, July 26th at 7pm. Cherry Lane Theatre, under the direction of Angelina Fiodellisi, presents the world premiere of Fist In Mouth, a new play written and directed by Dan Hasse.

The Beautiful People, a forgotten classic by American playwright William Saroyan, is living another life in a new Austin production. This brand new revival of The Beautiful People features favorite Austin actors Janelle Buchanan, Rommel Sulit and David Jarrott, in addition to talented performers from the University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance. The gifted production team of UT students, both graduate and undergraduate, will transform the Museum of Human Achievement into a site-specific performance space. Directed by Steven Wilson, a third year Directing MFA, the company re-imagines William Saroyan's play, and breathes new life into his forgotten work. Check out a first look below!

Open Stage of Harrisburg presents GIDION'S KNOT by Johnna Adams October 4 - 26, 2013. This opens Season 28 at the professional theatre located at 223 Walnut St, on the Street level of the Walnut Street Garage in Downtown Harrisburg. This production will be aRegional Premier of GIDION'S KNOT, which was a finalist for 2013 Steinberg-ATCA Award for Best New Play. Written by Johnna Adams and directed by Open Stage Executive Artisitc Director Donald Alsedek, the plot centers on the aftermath of a fifth grader's suicide after he is suspended for a violent, graphic piece he wrote and passed around class.

Silver Spring Stage presents The Little Dog Laughed by Douglas Carter Beane, directed by Eric Scerbo and produced by Lennie Magida, an irresistible comedy on the adventures of a budding movie star who could hit it really big depending on how he and his agent handle his secret. The Little Dog Laughed will perform weekends tonight, May 17 to June 8.

The piece has its premiere run tonight, May 2 to 19, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM. The running time is 1:30. Critics are invited on or after May 4.
