After a sold-out first edition, Broadway's best writers and performers teamed together again to help raise funds for children with special needs in New York City and around the world. Victor Legra, Anthony Crouchelli & M.O.V.E for Autism presented 'Putting the Pieces Together: Volume 2' featuring the music of Carner and Gregor, Rosser and Sohne, Maglione and Ruiz, Joey Contreras, Justin Anthony Long, Jonathan Lee & Joanna Burns; David Dabbon, and Will Van Dyke. Riverside Theatre's production of Miss Saigon is a big success with critics and audiences alike! And, due to popular demand a performance has been added on Thursday, January 30th at 2pm. The show will still close Sunday, February 2nd.

Les Mis. A French title, and a show so popular it has its own nickname. When the show premiered in London in 1985, some people wondered how on earth Victor Hugo's masterpiece of a novel could be turned into a musical. Those people have long since been silenced. Les Miserables has become one of the world's most beloved musicals, and Maine State Music Theatre's current production proves exactly why.

The Broadway-bound show is in the midst of a New York City developmental lab through May 17, and a production source tells BroadwayWorld.com that ALLEGIANCE is aiming for Broadway, possibly in the spring of 2014. The source cautions that there's numerous variables including star schedules and theatre availability that need to line up, so there is yet no official plan.
