Jeff Biehl Joins Cast of Primary Stages' LIVES OF THE SAINTS

On March 10, Jeff Biehl (Poor Behavior, Machinal) joins the company of the new Primary Stages production, Lives of the Saints, currently playingat Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project through March 27, 2015. Joining current cast members Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher, The 39 Steps), Carson Elrod (All in the Timing, The Explorers Club), Kelly Hutchinson (Desire Under the Elms, Don Peyote) and Liv Rooth (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur), Biehl will assume the roles played by Rick Holmes who departs the production to begin rehearsals for The Visit on Broadway.
Baryshnikov Arts Center to Continue Anniversary Season with Three Concerts

New York, NY – The Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) continues its 10th anniversary celebratory season with three concerts in April, reflecting BAC's expanded series of music programming for 2015. The weeklong celebration begins Monday, April 6 at 7:30pm, with one of BAC's signature events – a BAC Salon – in the Howard Gilman Performance Space, featuring the chamber music of Berio, Cage, and Mozart in an intimate salon setting. On Wednesday, April 8 at 7:30pm, composer and jazz pianist Stephen Prutsman will perform the entirety of his album Passengers for the first time ever, in another BAC Salon in the Howard Gilman Performance Space. The final performance of the week, on Saturday, April 11 at 8pm in the Jerome Robbins Theater, features the Latvian National Choir, hailing from BAC Artistic Director Mikhail Baryshnikov's birthplace of Riga and bringing to New York a program that includes music by Arvo Pärt, Grammy nominee Ugis Praulins, and the U.S. premieres of works by acclaimed Latvian composers Jekabs Janchevskis, Gundega Smite, and Raimonds Tiguls. The Latvian National Choir last appeared in New York as part of the 2010 White Light Festival at Lincoln Center, in performances The New York Times described as “ravishing.”
THE BIG BANG THEORY Star Kunal Nayyar Joins Cast of New Group's THE SPOILS

The New Group has announced additional casting and production dates for the world premiere production of The Spoils, a new play written by and featuring Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Scott Elliott. Kunal Nayyar ("The Big Bang Theory") joins Jesse Eisenberg in this production, which marks the third show in The New Group's current 20th Anniversary Season. Previews begin May 7, in advance of an Official Opening Night on Tuesday, June 2. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through June 28 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

Dixon Place's new dance commission and the feath3r theory's production of, COLOR ME, WARHOL, will have its world premiere on April 10th. Conceived, choreographed and directed by Raja Feather Kelly, this piece is the latest installment of an ongoing series jump-started by Mr. Kelly's interest in Andy Warhol, pop culture, and identity. COLOR ME, WARHOL will play six performances only -- April 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th at 7:00PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street).
Frances Black Projects to Present COMMEDIA DELL'ARTICHOKE, 2/22-24

Frances Black Project presents, Commedia dell'Artichoke, a bi-monthly show created and performed by Carter Gill and Tommy Russell. Performed in classic commedia dell'arte mask, these two Yale Drama trained actors create a world of characters, such as Pulicinella, Tartaglia and Zanni, who live and work in a pizza shop in New York City. It's a story about following your dreams, being your own boss and the chaos that must ensue. February 22, 23 and 24 at 9:30pm at Artichoke Basille's Pizza, 114 10th Avenue (at 17th Street). Dixon Place's new production, THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY, will begin previews Saturday, February 7th, and open on Sunday, February 22nd at 6:00 PM. Based on his best-selling novel, the show features critically acclaimed, Emmy nominated and award-winning storyteller James Lecesne, who portrays the life and characters of a Jersey Shore town where a young boy goes missing. The play is directed by Tony Speciale, with visuals by Matthew Sandager and incidental music by Duncan Sheik, some of which will be released in his new record "Legerdemain" in April 2015. THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY will run through March 28th at Dixon Place (161 Chrystie Street).
