STANDING UP Coming to Blu-ray/DVD 8/20

Arc Entertainment will be releasing STANDING UP on DVD and Blu-ray Aug. 20, 2103. Directed by D.J. Caruso, the film stars Annalise Basso (Bedtime Stories), Chandler Canterbury (RepoMen, Knowing), Val Kilmer (Seven Below, Deep in the Heart, MacGruber).

The Pasadena Playhouse, announced today that it will add four additional performances of Val Kilmer in CITIZEN TWAIN to its limited engagement. Val Kilmer, famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Jim Morrison (The Doors), Doc Holliday (Tombstone) and Batman (Batman Forever), inhabits the spirit of legendary American figure Mark Twain in his acclaimed one-man show CITIZEN TWAIN. Exploring the famed author's wry humor - from politics to death, love to money, racism, cats and everything in between - Val Kilmer reveals the wit and wisdom of the man considered to be America's greatest storyteller and first stand-up comedian. Kilmer continues to develop CITIZEN TWAIN, a solo show, with this now nine-show engagement, that will play August 21 through August 30, 2013, at The Pasadena Playhouse.

Based on the beloved film starring Michael Caine and Robert Duvall, Secondhand Lions springs to musical life in Seattle with a superbly talented cast of Broadway stars and Seattle musical theater actors. Lead by Tony Award nominees Gregg Edelman and Mark Jacoby, this adventure story also features Jason Danieley, Jenny Powers, Kevin Earley,Jared Michael Brown, Kendra Kassebaum, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Justin Huertas. Johnny Rabe, star of Broadway's A Christmas Story, takes center stage as Walter.

ARC Entertainment recently acquired all North American rights to the family film STANDING UP, based on the award-winning young adult novel by Brock Cole, The Goats. Starring Chandler Canterbury (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Annalise Basso (Bedtime Stories) and Val Kilmer (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Top Gun), the film was written and directed by D.J. Caruso. The film is set to hit theaters on Aug. 16, will be availabe exclusively at Wal Mart on DVD beginning Aug. 20, as well as VOD.

Val Kilmer, famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Jim Morrison (The Doors), Doc Holliday (Tombstone) and Batman (Batman Forever), inhabits the spirit of yet another legendary figure: Mark Twain. Kilmer continues to develop CITIZEN TWAIN, a solo show about the man considered to be the world's greatest storyteller, with this five performance extension at The Playhouse, August 21 - 24, 2013. The production continues through Sunday, July 28 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
