His scores for A CHORUS LINE, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG and SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, along with his work on classic films like THE WAY WE WERE and THE STING surely cement his place in the pantheon of great American artists, a legend in his own time. On Monday night he also participated - accompanying Idina Menzel on a song from A CHORUS LINE - in the White House celebration of Broadway also starring Nathan Lane, Idina Menzel, Audra McDonald and the First Family themselves which will be airing on PBS in October. He also hosts the 70s music special THE WAY WE WERE, MUSIC OF THE SEVENTIES airing in August on PBS, as well.

One of the most successful musicals of all time, Dan Goggin's NUNSENSE will celebrate its silver birthday this summer with a 25th anniversary production presented by the Off-Broadway Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan) -- where the hilarious musical comedy about the Little Sisters of Hoboken debuted Off-Broadway in 1985 - with performances beginning June 15 and running through July 18, 2010, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director of Cherry Lane Theatre and herself a former member of the cast of NUNSENSE in 1987.

Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore, an intimate collection of stories covering some of life's most poignant moments and their corresponding wardrobe, is coming to the Geffen Playhouse's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.

BLUEBARN Theatre will complete its 21st season with the 2007 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama RABBIT HOLE, which opens June 10th and runs through July 3rd. BLUEBARN's Artistic Director, Susan Clement-Toberer directs David Lindsay-Abaire's award-winning script. RABBIT HOLE showcases costumes by Jenny Pool, scenic design by Martin Scott Marchitto, lighting design by Carol Wisner, with original music composed by David Murphy. Shows run Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, June 20th and 27th at 6 p.m. There will be a post performance discussion following the show on Sunday June 20th at the KANEKO-UNO Library. Thursday, June 17 will showcase BLUEBARN's Witching Hour in lieu of a RABBIT HOLE performance. Ticket prices are $25 for adults; and $20 for students, TAG members, seniors 65+, and groups of 10 or more.

The Geffen Playhouse's second cast of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore will include Lucy DeVito, Conchata Ferrell and Rhea Perlman. Devito, who is best known for her stints Off-Broadway as well as spots on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, has appeared in many casts of the New York production. Joining DeVito is her mother, four-time Emmy Award winner Rhea Perlman.

25 recordings have been added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry including the original cast recording of GYPSY featuring Ethel Merman. Other titles include Patti Smith's debut album and Tupac's 'Dear Mama.'

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center raises the curtain on an exciting, expanded 2010-11 season on September 22, 2010 when classical piano superstar Lang Lang returns to NJPAC's Prudential Hall stage, which has been dubbed one of his favorite places in the world to play, as a soloist on two works, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in c, Op. 37, and Liszt's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, led by Jacques Lacombe in his second performance as the NJSO's new Music Director.

The Cherry Lane Theatre announces casting for the 25th anniversary revival of the worldwide smash-hit musical NUNSENSE by Dan Goggin
