Although I was set to see The Little Mermaid shortly after its opening, an actor's absence due to illness resulted in the rescheduling of many press seats to later dates, which is why I'm posting this a good two and a half weeks after the big night. Live theatre, kiddies.

On Tuesday, February 26, Walt Disney Records released the original Broadway cast recording of Disney's 'The Little Mermaid.' In celebration, there was a cast performance and CD signing at World of Disney on Tuesday, February 26 from 4-6PM.

The new Broadway production of Disney's The Little Mermaid will resume performances tonight, Thursday, November 29. Prior to the canceled performances due to the recent labor dispute, the show played five sold out previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). The previously scheduled opening night of December 6 has been cancelled and The Little Mermaid will now have its official press opening on Thursday, January 10 at 8PM.
