Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber is excited to announce casting has been finalized for the national tour of his high-octane Broadway and West End hit School of Rock The Musical! School of Rock The Musical is produced on Broadway by Andrew Lloyd Webber for The Really Useful Group, Warner Music Group & Access Industries, The Shubert Organization and The Nederlander Organization. Nina Lannan and Madeleine Lloyd Webber serve as Executive Producers.

Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber's high-octane Broadway and West End hit School of Rock The Musical is coming to Columbus' Ohio Theatre October 10-15.

Cherrelle Skeete, who originated the character of Rose Granger Weasley in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is now starring in the Lyric Hammersmith's production of The Seagull, which begins on 3 October.

Ever wonder how your favorite show looks on the other side of the Atlantic? Sometimes a show is exactly the same - and sometimes, the changes can make it nearly unrecognizable. It's no secret that productions cross the Atlantic all the time - whether they be iconic blockbusters like PHANTOM OF THE OPERA or more recent popular productions such as BEAUTIFUL and KINKY BOOTS. Sometimes, those shows end up almost exactly the same in their new home, with only the most minute changes; others appear to be entirely new pieces. The casts may change; staging may vary. Sometimes certain turns of phrase are edited or altered to make more sense, geographically or in terms of local slang.

Later this month (26 August 2017) Andrew Lloyd Webber will welcome a new group of kids to his Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical at the New London Theatre.  Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, the record breaking West End production of School of Rock - The Musical opened to rave reviews and in April this year the show's 'kids' cast, who play live music on stage at each performance, were the recipients of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music. 

Motown the Musical has just released 500,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings for the hit West End production into 2019 when the show will celebrate its third year in London and Motown will celebrate sixty years since the record company was founded. 

Matthew Dunster brings some desert sun to a so far patchy summer, with his Mexican inspired production of Much Ado About Nothing. It truly is the beating heart of the Summer of Love, running until the end of the season alongside first Twelfth Night, then King Lear and Boudica.

In a collaboratively created work with both British and Argentinian veterans, Lola Arias will bring the unanimously acclaimed MINEFIELD back to the UK to a series of venues across the country. With the full original cast, the production will return to the Royal Court Theatre for just 10 performances at the end of the year ahead of a UK tour in 2017/18 that will take it to major cities and military towns across the country.

With searingly topical timing, this summer sees the Lyric Hammersmith presenting the UK premiere of Terror, a tense courtroom drama by German lawyer and writer Ferdinand von Schirach which has become something of a worldwide hit. The premise is simple enough: a trial is undertaken on stage and the whole audience is the jury, voting after all the evidence has been presented.

Jamie Wilson is delighted to announce casting for Curve's all new production of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood and opening at Bristol Hippodrome on Mon 7 - Sat 12 Aug 2017.

After recent performances of new choreography from Crystal Pite, Wayne McGregor and Liam Scarlett, one could be forgiven for believing the Royal Ballet has dragged itself reluctantly into the 21st Century. Perhaps it's an overly emotional response, there is something wonderfully reassuring and warm in this Ashton triple bill that closes the current season. It's a return to what the Royal do best in these delicate works shine in their artistry and finesse.

Actor Gary Trainor, whose past work includes the West End productions of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, I Can't Sing and The Shawshank Redemption, has been playing the role of alternate Dewey in School of Rock since its London premiere. He's now leading the cast as Dewey.

International circus sensation, renowned for their aesthetic of delicately human circus, Casus bring their thrilling new show Driftwood to London for the first time, following rave reviews at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Driftwood will run for a limited season, from today 4 May - 4 June, with press night on Friday 5 May. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the show below!

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical today announces that Gary Trainor, having played the role of alternate Dewey since the show's London premiere, will lead the cast as Dewey Finn from 17 May 2017, with Stephen Leask joining the cast as the alternate Dewey.

Everything Between Us is David Ireland's award-winning play, which follows the sisters for the next 70 minutes, as they wrestle with their own relationship, a brutal history of political violence and the seeming impossibility of resolution.
