Tracie Thoms (Cold Case, Rent), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked), and Alexa Green (Wicked) have been added to the all-star lineup of Broadway stars performing at the upcoming concert of music from Jawbreaker, a new musical based on the cult-classic film, on Sunday, December 12th, 2010 at 9pm at the Canal Room in New York City. They join the previously announced cast, which includes Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Morgan James (Addams Family), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia), and Deborah S. Craig (Spelling Bee).

Next to Normal, with music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, is making its west coast premiere at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. With a thrilling contemporary score, 'Next to Normal' is an emotional powerhouse of a musical about a family trying to take care of themselves and each other. The Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical features original Broadway star Alice Ripley, who won the Tony for her performance. Next to Normal also features Asa Somers (Dan), Curt Hansen (Gabe), Emma Hunton (Natalie), Jeremy Kushnier (Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine) and Preston Sadleir (Henry).

Larson-award winning composer Mark Allen ('Band Geeks!,' 'Tinyard Hill') has penned an original 10-minute musical for the comedy web series 30/2010. The musical, entitled 'Call Us,' will be the 19th episode in the 30-episode web series, and will officially be unveiled on Tuesday, November 30. The series was created by and stars Joe Beuerlein, Thomas DeMarcus, and Kelly Strandemo. The new musical episode can be found on the show's website: www.thirtytwentyten.com.

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that Stephen Schwartz's PIPPIN is headed back to Broadway in a new revival that's expected to open on Broadway in the 2012-2013 season after a pre-Broadway stop at the ART in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
