Dancap Productions will present IN THE HEIGHTS, winner of four 2008 Tony Awards® - Best Musical, Best Music and Lyrics, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations, as well the 2008 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album - at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, February 7-19, 2012.

When tackling a play such as "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead", as is currently being tackled by Seattle Public Theater, you need to make sure you have two powerhouse actors in the titular roles, especially when putting in the twist of casting women rather than the traditional men in the roles. Check! Mission accomplished there. And as amazing as these women are, I have to say the production could have used a little more variation in pace as it rarely wavered from the breakneck speed with which it began.

Lamb for Dancap Productions Inc., today announced that PRINCE OF BROADWAY, the new musical celebrating legendary Broadway director and producer Harold "Hal" Prince will open directly on Broadway in November 2012 and will forgo the pre-Broadway engagement in Toronto.

Three of New York City's top indie theatre companies, Boomerang Theatre Company, Flux Theatre Ensemble, and Gideon Productions, have joined forces to form the BFG Collective, which will hold a six-month-long residency at Long Island City's The Secret Theatre.

GABE MCKINLEY makes his Atlantic debut with the world premiere of CQ/CX. His critically acclaimed play Extinction was produced off-Broadway last season, and his other plays include The Kitchen Sink Play, Welcome Home Rock Rogers, Funny and Floodplains. He is the recipient of the 2011 Samuel French/New School for Drama Award for Excellence in Playwriting, and his play The Gravewas the winner of the Samuel French off-off-Broadway Short Play Festival.

On Monday January 9, Red Bull Theatre will hold a staged reading of PIRANDELLO'S HENRY IV, a new version of the classic play written by Tom Stoppard.
