Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures has just announced that 2015 Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY) will write a new play based on the Oscar®-winning motion picture DOG DAY AFTERNOON.  Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures is developing the play for a Broadway bow to follow their successful production of Oscar® winner William Goldman's adaptation of MISERY starring Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf.

2Cents Theatre, the producers of the critically-acclaimed productions of the hit musicals Rent and Fugitive Songs is thrilled to present DEN OF THIEVES, written by 2015 Pulitzer Prize winning author Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Eric Augusztiny. DEN OF THIEVES will preview on Saturday, January 9 at 8pm & Sunday, January 10 at 7pm and will open on Friday, January 15 and run through Sunday, February 7 at the Hudson Guild Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

Chicago's Eclipse Theatre Company, the Midwest's only theatre company to focus on a single playwright each season, will feature the works of Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis for their 2016 Season.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long previously announced that the World Premiere of The Long Shrift, written by Robert Boswell and directed by James Franco, would begin previews tonight, July 7th, 2014. The official opening night is set for July 13th, 2014 and closing night is August 23rd, 2014.

The reading will star Karen Mason -- Drama Desk-nominated Broadway star of Wonderland, Mamma Mia and Sunset Boulevard, as well as a prolific concert and recording artist -- and be directed by Dan Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones, Tony Award nominee for Xanadu choreography). The show has music by Rhonda Kess, and lyrics by Rhonda Kess and Dale Kiken and a book by Dale Kiken. The reading will take place on Wednesday, July 9 at 3:00 PM and Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 PM at The New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street). Most screenings, including all the competition films, will take place at the AMC Loews Village 7 (11th St. & Third Ave.)

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, is currently in previews on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, March 6, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's production of the world premiere of Jesse Eisenberg's The Revisionist, starring Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave, and directed by Kip Fagan, has been extended for three weeks though Sunday, April 21, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street.
