Pioneer Theatre Company presents A Christmas Carol: The Musical November 30 - December 15, 2012.

Just under a week until Halloween, Bayou City Theatrics kicks off their inaugural season with Richard O'Brien's cult-favorite, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. While audiences at the Toyota Center waited for the original material girl to take the stage, Bayou City Theatrics channeled 80s inspired glam pop-punk fashions with their own breed of material girls (and boys) and treated their audience to a fresh rendition of the classic show.

The classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Friday, October 26 at 11:59 PM (Midnight). This 1975 cult classic film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien, and Meat Loaf. For fullest enjoyment of the film, a limited number of audience participation bags will be available for purchase.

Back to the Sea tells the touching story of a heroic fish's journey home. When little fish Kevin is swept up in a net and taken from his home in the vast oceans to the small glass fish tank of a New York restaurant, he must find a way to escape and make his way back home to his family and to the sea he loves.

In 2006 (I think... my mind is a little fuzzy), I had the privilege to be part of the original cast of "Don't Quit Your Night Job"-­- an all Broadway Improv show. The show was created by Sarah Saltzberg, Steve Rosen, and David Rossmer. (PS - go see Steve and David in "The Other Josh Cohen" which starts previews Wed at the SoHo playhouse) all of them comedic gold. Now... it may seem like I'm milking my friends here, but I wouldn't post it if it wasn't true! Anyhow, I always had a fantasy of writing a sketch for the show involving David Hyde Pierce and Brian d'Arcy James. Why? Let me finish...

'Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,' an action-packed, animated comedy series that follows the adventures of an unlikely hero who, with his super human ninja suit, the 'NinjaNomicon' (an 800 year-old Ninja guide) and the help of his best buddy Howard, finds himself as the one thing protecting his school and the world from certain destruction, is set to premiere on Disney XD TONIGHT, SEPTEMBER 17 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT). The sun will come out October 2nd when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the beloved musical classic ANNIE with itsBlu-ray™ debut. This charming motion picture was adapted from the smash Tony Award®-winning musical comedy based on the "Little Orphan Annie" comic strip about a young, red-haired orphan, Annie, and her dreams of a better life outside the orphanage walls. Since its first appearance at the Royal Court Theatre in June 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has been performed worldwide for nearly 40 years in over 20 countries and has been translated into more than 10 languages. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, a fresh new production is back for a year-long UK National adventure, heading to New Wimbledon Theatre from Mon 21 - Sat 26 January 2013.

According to Whatsonstage.com, The Rocky Horror Show will launch a year-long, 40th anniversary tour of the UK in December. Casting has yet to be announced.

Oliver Tobias and Paul Nicholas - two of the original stars of the musical Hair when it premiered in the West End in 1968 - are to make guest appearances in a celebrity-packed fundraiser performance of the musical in the West End for the Help For Heroes charity on Sunday July 1.
