The first-time Tony Award nominee has been an in-demand actor since making her Broadway debut in THE LION KING.

HAMILTON creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda is the champion of freestyling, so today PEOPLE asked the multiple Tony nominee to freestyle about how his own life has changed since hit musical began performances Off-Broadway just 15 months ago!

As we reported earlier this week, the national tour of HAMILTON will be included in the Kennedy Center's 2017-2018 season. Today it was announced that the tour will play the Kennedy Center Opera House from mid-June through mid-September 2018, an engagement totaling 14-weeks.
