Disney's THE LION KING set new box office records during its two Canadian engagements in Calgary and Edmonton during the past two months, grossing a combined total of $13 million and entertaining more than 154,000 people.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the new musical inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together four of the most legendary figures in the history of rock 'n' roll - Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley - will open on Broadway in the Spring of 2010 in a theatre to be announced.

Broadway Across America (BAA) has renewed its agreement with the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) to present Broadway productions in Columbus. Under the new 10-year agreement, CAPA will locally manage the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America Series, taking on the responsibilities of marketing, event management, ticketing, sponsorship, and public relations.

Casting has been announced for the Calgary engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. The press opening night is Thursday, August 6 at 8 pm. This Calgary engagement is currently one of eight productions running worldwide along with New York, London, Hamburg, Tokyo, Paris, Fukuoka and Las Vegas.

Search for the City of Lost Toys,' starring the world's most famous Latina explorer, to Jacksonville August 4-5, 2009.
