James Graham's critically acclaimed and prescient political drama THIS HOUSE which played to sold-out houses at the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre and in the West End will begin its first ever national tour at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds.

First Annual INSITU Site-Specific Dance Festival kicks off on July 8 & 9 at the Western Queens Waterfront, with 24 NYC-based dance companies performing original works inspired by natural and urban landscapes.

Presented by The Cabaret Company, as part of the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre 2016-2017 season, IT'S ALL TRU examines misconceptions surrounding HIV, preventative therapies and how it relates to the law. Written and directed by Sky Gilbert, the play is an intelligent, intimate glimpse into a sensitive subject.

A high energy musical history of The Four Seasons that hits all the right notes.

Jamie Wilson and the Leicester Curve's new production of Sister Act contains all of the ingredients for a smash-hit musical: a star director, a celebrity lead, a well-known, beloved story based on a popular film, and a plethora of sequins and catchy tunes.  Based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, an aspiring Philadelphia club singer. When Doloris witnesses her mobster boyfriend Curtis commit murder, she rushes to the police and old high school friend, Eddie, hides her in the one place she surely won't be found: a convent. The Mother Superior abhors Deloris' outspoken and extravagant nature. However, Deloris soon forms a close bond with the other sisters, transforming their pitiful choir with soul and funk versions of their usual hymns. When the convent choir's growing popularity puts Deloris' safety at risk, the sisters and even Mother Superior risk everything to protect her. 

Gary Naylor sees a show that has plenty of rock but lacks strong characters and is overly predictable.

Not seen in the UK since 1992, MOBY DICK! THE MUSICAL is now back. Originally produced by Cameron Mackintosh, Moby Dick! The Musical has a book by Robert Longden and music and lyrics by Longden and Hereward Kaye. The production runs at Union Theatre 12 October-12 November, with press night on 18 October.
