BroadwayCon has announced that tickets for BroadwayCon Industry Day are now on sale.

After an exciting launch in June at Tokyo Short Shorts for Season 4 of Lexus Short Films, Lexus International and The Weinstein Company have now announced Patty Jenkins, best known for directing Warner Bros. and DC Comics Wonder Woman and her debut feature Monster, and Antoine Fuqua, best known for directing the films The Magnificent Seven, The Equalizer and Training Day, to join Taylor Sheridan for the film program's selection committee.

Actors Dave Annable and Gil Birmingham have joined the cast of Paramount Network's first original scripted drama series, YELLOWSTONE starring renown actor and Oscar(R)-winner Kevin Costner and written and directed by Oscar(R)-nominated and critically acclaimed screenwriter Taylor Sheridan ('Hell or High Water,' 'Sicario,' 'Wind River').

This new production tackles one of the biggest symbols of Wales' industrial past and present; the Port Talbot steelworks.

The Arctic Group has commissioned playwright Daniel Talbott (Slipping and Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait) to write a new short play that will be performed on a double bill with Steve McMahon's Sad Indie Love Song in Series B of their inaugural FRIDGE Festival. The festival runs August 31 - September 10, and Series B will play Thu 8/31 at 9pm, Sun 9/3 at 7pm, Wed 9/6 9pm, and Sat 9/9 at 7pm.

Crackle's original one-hour drama series THE OATH has added cast for three recurring roles including Sarah Dumont (Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse), Billy Malone ('Santa Clarita Diet,' 'Code Black') and Aaron Abrams ('Hannibal'). The comedy tour will kick off on September 29th in Billings, MT and end on December 10th in San Francisco, California. The multi-city trek will hit major cities across the US including Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as well as Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, NY on November 10.

HBO announced the 11 writers selected, out of 3,600 submissions, to participate in the 2017 HBOAccess Writing Fellowship, which will run from July through February. The fellowship begins with a series of master classes from July 17-21 in their Santa Monica offices after which each writer or team will be paired with an HBO or Cinemax executive mentor.
