The alumni of the Inner City Cultural Center (ICCC) 50th Anniversary Planning Committee will present to renowned actor George Takei 

Banana Boat Productions in association with New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) is pleased to announce Crossing Boundaries, two short plays from Trinidadian writers as part of OFF THE BOAT, a summer Caribbean Theatre Festival. Dueling Voices, by the prolific Zeno Obi Constance, is paired with Nice by Mustapha Matura (Playboy of the West Indies.) The production runs August 18 through 27th at New Perspectives Studio, 458 West 37th Street, with performances Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 4:00pm.

Woodie King Jr.'s New Federal Theatre (NFT) held a festive Gala Benefit on Sunday, June 26 from 2:00 to 5:30 PM at Trump Place, 220 Riverside Boulevard (enter West 70th Street) honoring Novella Nelson and Melvin Van Peebles, two of many actors and directors who have worked at NFT over the theatre's 46 year history. Mr. Van Peebles was introduced by Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons. Ms. Nelson was introduced by former Mayor David Dinkins. Scroll down for photos from the event!

?Written and directed by Ted Lange, "The Cause, My Soul" will fortuitously be presented during the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth and death, April 23, 1616. "The Cause, My Soul" performs at The Odyssey Theatre, 2055 S. The Grove Theatre is proud to announce Lyman, a staged reading by Anne Johnstonbrown, and guest starring Ted Lange of Love Boat.  This play, which takes place on May 15th at 6:00 pm,  tells the story of a man named Lyman, the choices he makes, and how they impact his Destiny, as well as the Destinies of those around him. Each scene represents a different Destiny of Lyman Liri based on a choice he makes at a universal point in time.  The choice is always told from the perspective of someone who knew him. 

It all began on this day 50 years ago with a cruise to Mexico on a single cruise ship, Princess Patricia. Today, Princess Cruises celebrated its 50th anniversary aboard Pacific Princess in the Port of Los Angeles with a special appearance by the original LOVE BOAT cast before setting sail on a throwback cruise, recreating the very first itinerary to the iconic Mexican Riviera.

"The Journals of Osborne P. Anderson" performs at Theatre/Theater, 5041 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90010 and runs thru June 28th. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Princess Cruises, the cruise line made famous as the backdrop of the iconic Love Boattelevision series, debuted a new cocktail today in time to sweeten Valentine's Day celebrations on the high seas. Original Love Boat cast member Ted Lange, who played Isaac the bartender, created the amorous concoction, drawing inspiration from his character's signature grin-and-point move and bright red jacket. The new drink is debuting on all Princess cruise ships in time for Valentine's Day.

The original cast of 'The Love Boat' gathered to decorate Princess Cruises'Rose Parade float today, as well as participate in a myriad of national and local media interviews which celebrated the reunion of this beloved cast.
