Twenty One Pilots to Perform at the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that American Music Award-winning rock duo, Twenty One Pilots, will return to the AMAs stage to deliver a YouTube Music Moment at the "2018 American Music Awards." The band will treat fans to their alternative/indie track "Jumpsuit," which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and is the fastest-rising song to reach No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart since the 2009 and garnered the top spot on the Rock Airplay chart. "Jumpsuit" is the first single from the band's highly anticipated fifth studio album, TRENCH, out today.

British Singer Ella Mai to Perform at the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that British singer, songwriter Ella Mai will perform her smash hit "Boo'd Up" at the "2018 American Music Awards." The British artist, who just tied the record for longest running No. 1 song by a woman on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, will also deliver an encore performance of "Trip" for Comcast's Xfinity TV customers exclusively on Xfinity On Demand immediately following the telecast. Ella Mai joins previously announced performers benny blanco with Halsey and Khalid, Camila Cabello, Cardi B featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, Mariah Carey, Ciara featuring Missy Elliott, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes with Zedd, Panic! International Superstar Jennifer Lopez To Perform At 2018 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that international film, tv and music sensation and three-time American Music Award-winning artist, Jennifer Lopez will debut a brand new single from her upcoming feature film, Second Act, at the “2018 American Music Awards.” The film follows Lopez's character Maya, a 40-year-old woman struggling with frustrations from unfulfilled dreams. Until, that is, she gets the chance to prove to Madison Avenue that street smarts are as valuable as book smarts, and that it's never too late for a Second Act. The new comedy, which also stars Leah Remini, Milo Ventimiglia and Vanessa Hudgens, hits theaters December 14. Lopez, a past host of the show, last performed on the American Music Awards stage in 2014. The 2018 MTV EMA nominees have been revealed. Camila Cabello is the most nominated artist with nods in six categories including 'Best Artist' and 'Best Video' for 'Havana' featuring Young Thug. Ariana Grande and Post Malone are very close behind with five nominations each. Drake, Shawn Mendes and Dua Lipa also snagged an impressive number of nods with nominations in four categories each.

Unity Inspired TV Series 'America Unscripted' Launches Production this Fall

Daniel Borunda, creator and executive producer of the docu-series entitled, “America Unscripted,” is preparing for the production of a total of ten, 30 minute episodes of the forthcoming series. Production is slated for completion by the end of 2018. “America Unscripted” is described by Borunda as a “compelling, honest and unscripted television series.” He plansto interview people who live in culturally diverse and politically polarized cities throughout the United States with the goal of encouraging unity and hope. According to Daniel Borunda, “The idea for the docu-series sprung out of a series of events, personal to me, which started about two years ago. It began after I had heard a pastor's message about living an epic and honorable life.” Continuing, “The pastor discussed the fact that each of us is uniquely gifted to carry out a particular purpose in life, in essence living out one's destiny in a beneficial and uplifting way and how every one of us can be of service to others.' The pastor discussed, “living an epic life, with “epic” defined as how it relates to each person's unique contribution that each of us is here on earth to do.”

Queens Library will celebrate the 5th anniversary of its increasingly popular Culture Connection program with five concerts at five library locations, featuring a number of Broadway and jazz artists, and showcasing various flavors of the genres, from Broadway standards to Afro-Cuban jazz.
