It's tough to decide what I like more, a great production or a great new theater. Thankfully, I got both during my recent trip to Texas State San Marcos Department of Theatre and Dance. Their current production of Anything Goes is stunning, as is the new Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre.

According to Deadline, TV Land has ordered Darren Star's YOUNGER, starring Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, and Miriam Shor to series for a 12-episode first season. The single-camera project, which is written, executive produced and directed by Star, is based on the novel YOUNGER by Pamela Redmond Satran.

DISASTER!, the 1970s disaster movie musical comedy, will play its final performance Off-Broadway tonight, April 11th, after a smash six-month run at the St. Luke's Theatre (308 W. 46th Street). Disaster! began previews on October 14th, 2013 and opened to critical acclaim on November 4th, 2013. The musical, which performs in repertory with other productions at the St. Luke's Theatre, will have played 11 previews and 86 performances at the time of its closing.

TIL DIVORCE DO US PART: THE MUSICAL, will conclude its 10-week engagement at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street in Union Square) after the matinee on Sunday, April 13th, prior to a national tour, which is soon to be announced. Mark Waldrop is the director with concept, lyrics and choreography by Ruthe Ponturo and music by John Thomas Fischer. The musical comedy revue opened to acclaim from critics and audiences alike. The cast of Violet is in the recording studio today, recording the cast album of Violet on April 7, 2014. This Original Broadway Cast Recording, a two-disc set, will be released by PS Classics on June 3. The production is currently playing at the American Airlines Theatre through August 10, 2014. THe cast has been busy tweeting and intagramming from the recording booth today and you can check out a roundup of their photos below!

Scott Alan has just announced that he will soon release a digital EP titled 'Anything Worth Holding on To'. The album, which will include songs written and performed by Alan, will be released on May 6. The track listing is as follows:

The stage version by Tommy Murphy captures all its special magic. Producers Nick Hardcastle and Nate Jones launch their newly formed Australian Theatre Company with the Los Angeles premiere of Holding the Man, featuring an all-Australian cast and directed by veteran Hollywood acting coach Larry Moss.
