In the first three weeks since Lincoln: The Exhibition opened at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, guest attendance has increased 25% over the Library's average June attendance for the past three years. Due to the large crowds, timed tickets are available and can be purchased in advance on the Library's website at www.reaganlibrary.com/tickets. In addition to California, Museum guests have come from Texas, Florida, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, as well as other areas of the country and around the globe, to see this exceptional exhibit.

Cruzach Films to Fund First Feature WHAT LOLA WANTS

American entrepreneur and investor Chris King launches a film production company, Cruzach Films, Inc. and will allocate $15 million to fund new film and TV projects. Cruzach Films has started production on its first feature film, What Lola Wants in partnership with The Bubble Factory and legendary producer, Sid Sheinberg. Sheinberg is an icon in the movie business, known for discovering Steven Spielberg along with his work on projects that include Jaws, Schindler's List, ET, and Jurassic Park.

TNT has ordered a fourth season of Falling Skies, the Epic drama produced by DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wyle. Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Falling Skies is averaging 5.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery and ranks as basic cable's #1 scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer-to-date. TNT plans to launch the 10-episode fourth season in summer 2014.

Elks Theatre Hosts TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS Weekend

Today, June 29th and the 30th, The Elks Theatre wraps up their celebration of Steven Spielberg films with screenings of SAVING PRIVATE RYAN (1998) and will honor all local veterans and currently serving military during their 'Tribute to the Troops' weekend. In an effort to revive an old tradition, local former Marine Robert Hauser has donated a Silver Dollar on behalf of the late Bob Smith, Detachment #784, Marine Corps. League. The rare coin will be awarded to a single patron in attendance on June 29th and the winner's ticket will be randomly drawn from the many in attendance that evening. Veterans, currently serving military, and local veterans' organizations are encouraged to attend, dress in uniform, and interact with the public. Persons or organizations who own World War II memorabilia, clothing, antique weapons, or vehicles who are interested in having their pieces as part of the exhibit are encouraged to contact the SAVE THE ELKS! Campaign by emailing Director of Development Max Einhorn at maxfortheelks@gmail.com. The Elks intends on hosting a Tribute to the Troops weekend annually and is actively seeking sponsorship for future events. About SAVE THE ELKS! Beginning in October 2012, the Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, embarked on a vital mission to SAVE THE ELKS! from closure due to radical changes in movie technology.
