Variety reports that Al Pacino is set to star in the upcoming HBO film, 'Kervorkian' about right-to-die champion Dr. Jack Kevorkian. Barry Levinson is set to direct the film, which will revolve around Kervorkian's construction of his infamous 'Mercy Machine,' his first assisted suicide in the early 1990s and the resulting media frenzy.

TheatreRats presents the 3rd Annual Chester Horn Short Play Festival, featuring twelve 10-15 minute plays at the Medicine Show Theatre from September 27-30.
