Today, Thomas Schumacher, president and producer, Disney Theatrical Productions, travelled to Brisbane to announce that Disney's landmark musical event THE LION KING will come to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from September 26, 2014

Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes back JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical about Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, playing in Orange County from June 24 - July 13, 2014. The producers of Lanie Robertson's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill just announced a general rush policy. A limited number of rush tickets, which are subject to availability, can be purchased at the box office of the Circle in the Square when the box office opens for the day of the performance on a first-come-first-served basis. The box office of the Circle in the Square opens at 10am Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday (starting March 30th). Rush tickets are $40 each and limited to two (2) tickets per customer.

Casting has been announced for the Toronto engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Toronto's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Princess of Wales Theatre stage from Wednesday April 30 to Sunday June 15. The award-winning musical premiered in Toronto in April 2000 at the Princess of Wales Theatre where it played 1,560 performances through January 2004 and returned in 2011 for an eight-week sold-out engagement.

Open auditions are to be held for 'Cub School' - the programme where children who have the potential to play Young Simba and Young Nala in Disney's musical THE LION KING have the opportunity to hone the skills required to take on these challenging roles.

JERSEY BOYS celebrates its 2,500th performance in London tomorrow, Thursday 20 February 2014, at the Prince Edward Theatre, where it opened in 2008. Its last performance there will be on Sunday 9 March, and then it moves to the Piccadilly Theatre, opening there on Saturday 15 March. The show will celebrate its 6th Birthday in London on 18 March. The musical has now been seen by over 19 million people worldwide and is firmly established as one of the West End's longest running and most popular shows. The show will also be touring the United Kingdom for the first time from September 2014.
