The Factory Theater presents the world premiere of The Adventures of Spirit Force Five, playing June 29 - August 11 at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. The new play is written by Jill Oliver and directed by Spenser Davis. Previews are Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.

The Neo-Futurists present Ensemble Member Trevor Dawkins' A Story Told in Seven Fights, directed by Tony Santiago, playing at 5153 N. Ashland Ave., March 1 April 7. Previews are Thursday, March 1 Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m., with opening night Monday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. The running time is currently 80 minutes. The Board of Directors of The New Colony is pleased to announce the appointment of Fin Coe and Stephanie Shum as the company's new Co-Artistic Directors. Coe and Shum succeed Founding Members and Co-Artistic Directors Andrew Hobgood and Evan Linder, who will step down in January 2018 at the conclusion of the company's ninth season.

Steppenwolf Education presents this American classic as part of the SYA season which asks, When does a lie become the truth? Public performances for The Crucible are Saturday, October 7 at 3pm and 7:30pm; Sunday, October 8 at 3pm; Friday, October 13 at 7:30pm; Saturday, October 14 at 3pm and 7:30pm; and Saturday, October 21 at 3pm and 7:30pm in the Downstairs Theatre. The press performance is Saturday, October 7 at 3pm. Weekday performances are reserved for school groups only.
