Theatre at the Center presents the Chicagoland premiere of the Broadway hit NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT. This new musical features a book by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, and a treasure trove of George and Ira Gershwin's most beloved, instantly recognizable tunes (Let's Call the Whole Thing Off, Someone to Watch Over Me, 'S Wonderful). ?Theatre at the Center announces the Chicagoland premiere of the Broadway hit Nice Work If You Can Get It.  This new musical features a book by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, and a treasure trove of George and Ira Gershwin's most beloved, instantly recognizable tunes (Let's Call the Whole Thing Off, Someone to Watch Over Me, 'S Wonderful).  Nice Work If You Can Get It runs May 5 through June 5 at Theatre at the Center.

Written by William Donnelly and directed by Kimberly Senior, NO WAKE's West Coast premiere will play tonight, February 25, through March 19, 2016 at VS. Theatre Company, 5453 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles. The press opening is Saturday, February 27 at 8 pm.

Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Avenue, announces that The Christmas Schooner will be sailing for its fifth year at Mercury Theater Chicago, running November 25 through December 27, 2015.  Jeff Award winner Stef Tovar takes the helm as the Schooner's captain, alongside Brianna Borger as the Captain's wife Alma Stossel.  The whole family will enjoy this heart-warming musical story of the first Christmas tree ship and the family who risked their lives to fill Chicago with the Christmas spirit. The production features a powerful, moving story, an exquisite score of original music and traditional holiday favorites, and a company of 25 actors and musicians and is helmed by the Jeff-award winning team of L. Walter Stearns (Director), Eugene Dizon (Musical Director) and Brenda Didier (Choreographer).

NO WAKE Replaces COPS AND FRIENDS OF COPS in Route 66's 2016 Season

Route 66 Theatre Company will present the Chicago premiere of No Wake by William Donnelly, directed by Kimberly Senior, and the world premiere of Quiver by Jenni Lamb, directed by Frances Limoncelli, during its seventh year as a company and third year as a resident company at Greenhouse Theater Center. The previously announced Cops and Friends of Cops by Ron Klier has been postponed due to scheduling.
