The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of The Vandal by Hamish Linklater. Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Deirdre O'Connell has replaced Holly Hunter in her role. This limited Off-Broadway engagement begins previews tonight, January 18 with opening slated for January 31. Everyone's favorite vampire slayer from the late 1990s is eyeing a return to television. TVLine.com reports that Sarah Michelle Gellar, who shot to fame on Joss Whedon's BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, is poised to star in an upcoming, unnamed sitcom for 20th Century Fox.
VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE Coming to Broadway?

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the Lincoln Center Theater production of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a new play by Christopher Durang, directed by Nicholas Martin might be heading to Broadway. A show representative has revealed to BWW that talks for a possible Broadway transfer are in 'very early stages.'

McNamara has a new project in the works called THE TROUBLE WITH BILLY, which turns the trials of his modern life into fodder for a part reality, part fictional 'adventure' in West Hollywood. Among the cast and crew already on board at pre-production is Matthew Ziff, a talented young actor whose career is on the cusp of breaking through in a big way.

Shakespeare & Company has announced The Conservatory at Shakespeare & Company's winter production of King John, directed by longtime Company artist, and star of this summer's critically acclaimed production of Cassandra Speaks, Tod Randolph. Now in its sixth year, the Conservatory, a 13-week professional actor training program includes 10 - 16 promising actors from across the country and around the globe. This year's program features a group of 16 who will join forces in Shakespeare's rarely produced King John for three special performances in the Tina Packer Playhouse.
