According to The Wrap, Jack Black, star of such films as 'School of Rock' and 'The Holiday' has revealed that he would like to see his upcoming comedy BERNIE brought to the Great White Way.

A Twist of Lemmon: A Tribute to My Father is a memoir-styled book concerning the life of famed American actor Jack Lemmon, as viewed through the eyes of his son, Christopher Lemmon. The book was published in May 2006 by Algonquin Books, and features a foreword by Kevin Spacey, who credits Jack Lemmon with his pursuit of acting.

In his first New York major engagement in 25 years, Emmy-nominated musical director, conductor, arranger and jazz pianist Donn Trenner collaborated with MAC and Bistro Award-winning jazz vocalist Shaynee Rainbolt for four Fridays in September. That critically acclaimed engagement returns to the Metropolitan Room in New York City for Four encore performances: Sunday, December 9th at 4pm; Tuesday December 11 at 7pm; and Saturday and Sunday December 15 & 16 at 4pm.

PBS has announced that DOWNTON ABBEY REVISITED will premiere Sunday, November 25, 2012, 8:00-9:30 p.m. ET.

Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer have officially joined the remake of the Spanish-Argentine romantic comedy, ELSA & FRED. Michael Radford (IL POSTINO) is set to direct.

Works has just announced a celebrity staged reading in celebration of The 25th Anniversary of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias to take place on Monday, 3 December 2012 at 7pm to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This special one night only event will take place at the Lucille Lortel Theater located at 121 Christopher Street in New York City, where the original production performed. Directed by Judith Ivey and starring Blythe Danner, Annie Potts as M'Lynn, the original Truvy, Margo Martindale as Ouiser, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Shelby and Sarah Stiles as Annelle. Additional cast announced soon! Music for this production has been generously donated by Bonnie Raitt and Pat Boone. With support from the 25th Anniversary Honorary Committee including Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field, Daryl Hannah, Shirley MacLaine, Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts and sponsored by Lifetime Television, Magnolia Bakery and Veranda Restaurant. The Oscar winner and beloved actress, Shirley MacLaine, is reportedly in talks to join BRIDESMAIDES' Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming road-trip flick, TAMMY. MacLaine is said to have been offered the role, and is having a one-on-one with McCarthy, who also co-wrote the movie for New Line, tonight.
