On Monday, September 14, 2009, Five-time Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury hosted a memorial for friends and family of Tony and Emmy Award-winning entertainment icon Beatrice Arthur at Broadway's Majestic Theatre (247 W. 44th St.). One of the highlights of the touching, humorous, tender and emotional afternoon was the video played of Angela and Bea singing 'Bosum Buddies' from MAME when the two reunited to sing it at the Tony Awards.

The 92nd Street Y announces the 2010 line-up for Lyrics & Lyricists, the 40th anniversary season of 92Y's legendary American Songbook series. The Theatre and Interpretation Center and American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will present the 2009 Summer Music Theatre Festival (June 24 to Aug. 9), featuring new works and old favorites performed by both Broadway stars and Northwestern music theatre students.

Playwrights Horizons will present private readings of MRS. SHARP, a new musical with Book by Kirsten Guenther and Music & Lyrics by Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Ryan Scott Oliver.
