Queens Theatre (QT), in conjunction with the acclaimed Aquila Theatre, presents William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT, an innovative and exciting new production directed by Aquila Theatre Artistic Director, Desiree Sanchez (BAM's Herakles). TWELFTH NIGHT will play 4 performances only at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368). Performances are Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2pm, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3pm. Tickets are $42 for Friday?s performance and $49 for Saturday and Sunday performances; Rear seating $25 (for all performances). Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Cincinnati's stage for the classics, continues their 20th Anniversary Season with William Shakespeare's classic tragedy 'Hamlet', beginning tonight, January 10, and continuing through February 8, 2014. This production is directed by CSC Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips and features CSC Resident Ensemble members Brent Vimtrup, Bruce Cromer, Sherman Fracher and Sara Clark. Shining East Productions presents The Sun Shines East, based on a true story written by Corinne Chateau* about an adoptive mother's struggle to break through deep personal barriers and international politics to bring home her daughter. Pat Golden directs a cast of 5 including Karen Christie-Ward*, Tara Gadomski*, Mary Francina Golden*, Bristol Pomeroy, and Amy Staats*. Fourteen performances will be held at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre, 10 West 64th Street, in New York City from January 31-February 16, 2014. *Member, Actors' Equity Association. AEA Approved Showcase.

No storyline is off limits when the Improvised Shakespeare Co. takes the stage Saturday, February 22, 8pm, at The Capitol Center for the Arts' Spotlight Cafe.

Rehearsals begin Monday, January 13 in New York for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre. The official opening night for LES MISERABLES is Sunday, March 23. The cast of the new LES MIZ features Ramin Karimloo (West End and current acclaimed Toronto star of LES MISERABLES, and The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies in London) as Jean Valjean; Will Swenson (Tony Award-nominated star of Broadway's Hair and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Javert; Caissie Levy (West End and Broadway star of Ghost and Hair and Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked) as Fantine; Nikki M. James (Tony Award winner for The Book of Mormon) as Eponine; Andy Mientus (who captured the hearts of TV viewers with his portrayal of Kyle Bishop on the NBC series 'Smash') as Marius; talented newcomer Charlotte Maltby as Cosette; acclaimed Canadian actor Cliff Saunders (The 39 Steps) as Thenardier; Tony Award-nominee Keala Settle (Hands on a Hardbody) as Madame Thenardier and Kyle Scatliffe, (the West End production of The Scottsboro Boys) as the revolutionary Enjolras.

Washington Ensemble Theatre to Present ED, DOWNLOADED by Michael Mitnick in its reigonal premiere. Directed by Ali el-Gasseir, Ed, Downloaded will play January 31 - February 24, 2014.

The Rainbow Theatre Project presents Charles Busch's dark satire, Die Mommie Die!, as the second of six concert readings scheduled for its inaugural season. Directed by Chris Griffin, Die! plays at Source in D.C. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., and will be preceded by a reading of Ron Burch's short play, Romeo and Jules.

Silver Spring Stage presents The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, directed by William T. Fleming and produced by Karen Fleming, hysterical and fast-paced, gag-a-second delight that deconstructs all 37 of the Bard's plays-plus the sonnets-into a single two-hour whirlwind. The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) will perform weekends today, January 10 to February 1, 2014.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Laura Marks's powerful new play Bethany. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, Bethany will run Jan. 25 - Feb. 23, 2014 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Jan. 25 - Jan. 29.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company brings a sweeping, youthful, full-cast production of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to the Duncan-Williams Performance Hall at Germantown Performing Arts Center on January 28 and 30 at 7:00 pm. Opening night on January 28 will include a complimentary post-show reception with the actors.

Actors Christopher Tierney (in his first NYC stage role since departing Broadway's Spider-Man) and Louis Butelli (Cyclops: A Rock Opera; Sleep No More) step into Jon Fosse's I AM THE WIND, replacing the previously announced James Patrick Nelson and Jonathan Tindle. Performances still begin tonight, January 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 26.

Grammy Award-nominated singer and renowned interpreter of the Great American Songbook,Michael Feinstein, returns to Carnegie Hall with a special concert featuring a variety of love songs in celebration of Valentine's Day, on Friday, February 14 at 8:00 p.m. He is joined by special guests Laura Osnes (Broadway's Cinderella, and Maria in Carnegie Hall's The Sound of Music) andJulian Ovenden (Season Four of PBS's Downton Abbey, the West End's Finding Neverland, and as John F. Kennedy in the 'Bombshell' production on NBC's Smash).

Shakespeare & Company announces its winter session of in-school Residencies, which culminate in three exciting productions ripe with wit, magic, trickery and love. Lenox Middle School will perform Much Ado About Nothing on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00pm, the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, NY will perform A Midsummer Night's Dream on January 30th at 6:00pm at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor and Nessacus Middle School will perform Twelfth Night in February.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.
