Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the world premiere of a new comedy by Theresa Rebeck, Fool. In Rebeck's new comedy, two kings get together and place a wager on their fools - a jester competition, and the funniest one gets to keep his head. Two evil minions have a lot to say about this, but not as much as the kitchen wench. And what's the queen been up to all night? A dramatical comical farcical tragical play about power, love and laughter, set in a medieval kitchen. Adult Language, Adult Situations, Beheadings.

Seattle's Best Damn Happy Hour, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., the third Thursday of each month, celebrates its One-Year Anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 20, with a Giant Jenga Competition beginning at 6 p.m. in Seattle Center Armory.

MATILDA's Revolting Children to Rise Up Nationwide: North American Tour Opens May 2015 in Los Angeles

MATILDA THE MUSICAL, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, announced today that a North American Tour will commence in May 2015. After technical rehearsals and performances in New Haven at the Shubert Theater, the tour officially opens at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles and includes the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre and Dallas' AT&T Performing Arts Center among others in the first season. Full touring schedule and casting will be announced at a later date.

In response to the overwhelming demand, ImprovBoston announces a second show for Chicago-based, nationally acclaimed Improvised Shakespeare Company at 9:30pm on Monday, February 17. The Improvised Shakespeare Company will create a fully improvised, fully comedic Shakespearean masterpiece using Shakespeare's themes and language to bring an unforgettable evening of off-the-cuff comedy. Nothing has been planned out, rehearsed, or written. The night could reveal a tragedy, comedy, or history. Each play is completely improvised; each play is entirely new.

The Public Theater announced today that single tickets are now on sale for the 2014 spring season, beginning on February 18 with ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, the exciting international collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company and GableStage in Miami. Edited and directed by MacArthur Fellow Tarell Alvin McCraney, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA will run through Sunday, March 23, with an official press opening on Wednesday, March 5 in the Anspacher Theater.

Real-life mother and son Tony and Emmy Award nominee Kate Burton (The Corn is Green, The Cherry Orchard, Hedda Gabler at the Huntington) and Morgan Ritchie (The Corn is Green) will play mother and son onstage together for the first time when they return to the Huntington Theatre Company for a lush new production of Anton Chekhov's passionate classic The Seagull. Huntington favorite Maria Aitken (The Cocktail Hour, Betrayal) will direct the Paul Schmidt translation of the classic of world drama about love, missed connections, and what it means to be an artist. Performances of The Seagull begin at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre on March 7, 2014.

GAME OF THRONES actor Owen Teale will star in director Terry Hands' new production of UNDER MILK WOOD, which will embark on an English tour, following its run at Clywd Theatr Cymru and a Welsh tour, at York Theatre Royal on Monday 21 April. The production marks the centenary of Dylan Thomas' birth, as well as the 60th anniversary since UNDER MILK WOOD was first produced in Britain, as a radio play by the BBC, in 1954. A cast of Welsh actors also includes TORCHWOOD actor Kai Owen and Steven Meo (THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS).
