York Shakespeare Company Presents LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, 5/28-6/12

The York Shakespeare Company will present Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, directed by Seth Duerr. LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT will play a three-week limited engagement at the Lion Theater (410 West 42nd Street address). Performances begin Friday, May 28 and continue thru Saturday, June 12. Opening Night is Saturday, May 29 (8 p.m.).

Boston Critics Announce Noms For Elliot Norton Awards

The Boston Theater Critics Association has announced its nominees for this year's Elliot Norton Awards, which recognize excellence in Greater Boston theater. The awards will be given at the 28th annual ceremony, to be held at 7 p.m.

F. Murray Abraham to Guest Star on Law & Order

According to EW.om, stage and screen star F. Murray Abraham will guest star in the season finale of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The episode is set to air in July with Abraham playing the father of Jeff Goldblum's character.

Nick Lloyd Webber Composes New Score for OSC's THE TEMPEST; Opens June 9

Following in the footsteps of his famous father, Nick Lloyd Webber, son of Andrew, is in the process of composing an original score for the Oxford Shakespeare Company's production of The Tempest. The production is being developed in celebration of it's 400th anniversary, in addition to the 400th anniversary of Wadham College where the Oxford Shakespeare Company was born. Mick Gordon directs.

Christopher Plummer To Narrate TCM's 'Moguls And Movie Stars'

Two-time Emmy(R) winner and 2009 Academy Award(R) nominee Christopher Plummer (The Last Station) will narrate Turner Classic Movies' (TCM) ambitious, seven-part original production MOGULS AND MOVIE STARS: A HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD. This comprehensive true story behind the making of the American movie industry is being co-produced by TCM and Bill Haber's Ostar Productions. The series is slated to premiere in November 2010.

The cast for the U.S. premiere of a spectacular new stage production of J M Barrie's beloved story PETER PAN flies into San Francisco landing in a state-of-the-art theatre tent erected especially for this production at Ferry Park on the Embarcadero, opposite the Ferry Building. PETER PAN is the first major theatrical production to transfer to San Francisco directly from a successful London engagement.

Know Theatre of Cincinnati is pleased to announce its fourth and fifth production of the season, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, written by Tony Kushner. Angels in America opens with the first of the two part play, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, on Know Theatre's mainstage through May 8, 2010. The second half of the production, Angels in America: Perestroika, will open April 23 and play through May 8, 2010.
