“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has won the late-night ratings week of May 7-11 in adults 18-49 and every other key demographic – adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54 -- according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research. Note that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” aired a Friday encore.

Amber Ruffin to Contribute New Material for The Muny's THE WIZ

The Muny announced today that Emmy and Writers Guild Award-nominated Amber Ruffin will provide new material for the script of The Muny's production of The Wiz, June 19 - 25. Ruffin has been working with The Wiz's original book writer, William F. Brown, on The Muny production, with the full support of Charles Michael Smalls, son of The Wiz composer Charlie Smalls. The Muny production is directed by Denis Jones with choreography by Camille A. Brown and music direction by Darryl Archibald. The Wiz is proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors.

ABC News' “Nightline” averaged 1.231 million Total Viewers, 462,000 Adults 25-54 and 343,000 Adults 18-49, during the week of April 23, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” beat CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.207 million, 381,000 and 281,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+24,000), Adults 25-54 (+81,000) and Adults 18-49 (+62,000).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO and Liz Garbus are going to adapt Michelle McNamera's 'I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer' book to a documentary series. This comes on the heels of the golden state killer being arrested on April 24.
