Reinvention has always been a necessity for those with endless creative passion. When artist George Seurat painted A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, he employed a new and somewhat controversial method of applying small dots of pigment to the canvas. When observed from a distance, these pixels would create a shimmering combination of color and light in a way never seen before.

Famke Janssen has joined John Cusack and supporting lead cast, Sean Astin, Mischa Barton, Michael Biehn, John Hannah, Rutger Hauer, Stelio Savante, Tom Sizemore and Sean Young in the crime thriller Kickback.

Billy Crystal returned to Broadway last night to kick off a 9-week-only limited engagement of his Tony Award-winning, record-breaking play 700 Sundays. The final performance will be Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Rather than offend by glorifying these misfits and misguided 'patriots,' Assassins personalizes them with piercing insight, comedy and pathos.

With more than a dozen acting credits to his name, it certainly can't be denied that Italian-American actor, AnthonyL. Gurino isn't new to the industry. Born and raised in Howard Beach, NY, Gurino is a Meisner-trained actor and has studied at a number of highly-regarded programs in both New York City and Los Angeles, including the Esper Studio, Actors Alliance, New York Film Academy, and with the highly-respected acting coach, James Brill at the Legendary Neighborhood Playhouse.

Gravitas Ventures announced today that they have acquired U.S. VOD rights to JUG FACE, the tense horror-thriller that was written and directed by Chad Crawford Kinkle. The film was produced by Andrew van den Houten ("Funeral Kings," 'The Woman") and Robert Tonino ('Home Movie," "Ghoul") for Moderncine, and stars Lauren Ashley Carter ("The Woman"), Sean Bridgers ("Deadwood"), Sean Young ("Blade Runner"), Larry Fessenden ("I Sell the Dead") and Daniel Manche ("The Girl Next Door"). The film was executive produced by Lucky McKee, Arrien Schiltkamp and Loren Semmens. JUG FACE won the Slamdance Grand Prize Screenwriting Award in 2011 and debuted as a Special Screening selection at this year's festival. The film is slated for a July Pre-Theatrical VOD premiere, followed by a national theatrical roll out.
