'Spamalot' gets excellent 1-to-9 odds to win Best Musical at the Tony
Awards on June 5, according to the experts at GoldDerby.com. The Broadway
mega-hit loosely based upon the film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' is
also favored to win Best Director (Mike Nichols, 6-to-5-odds) and Best
Featured Actress (Sara Ramirez, 3 to 2).

The Drama League is pleased to announce the nominees for The 71st Annual Drama League Awards, which will be presented at its annual luncheon and ceremony on Friday, May 13, 2005.
Ziemba, McKechnie, McCarthy, Nixon and Others Announced for Barrington Follies

Tony award winners Karen Ziemba and Donna McKechnie, Urinetown's Jeff McCarthy, City of Angels's Leslie Denniston, and Tony-nominated Lara Teeter will star in Barrington Stage Company's production of James Goldman's and Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece Follies. Broadway veteran Marni Nixon will also be featured. Artistic Director Julianne Boyd will direct and Lara Teeter will choreograph. Follies, presented in celebration of Sondheim's 75th birthday, will run from June 23 through July 16 at the Consolati Performing Arts Center, Sheffield, MA.

MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, a new musical lovingly ripped-off from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, begins previews at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th St.) on February 14, 2005 and opens on March 17, 2005.

Monty Python's SPAMALOT Reschedules Bway Dates

The producers of Monty Python's SPAMALOT announced today that the Broadway dates will be rescheduled to accommodate a week-long extension in Chicago. Previews at Broadway's Shubert Theatre will now begin on February 14 2005; the show will open on March 17 2005.
The Chicago engagement will now run through January 23 2005. Previews will begin there on December 21 2004 at Chicago's Shubert Theatre.
