Due to overwhelming demand, the Barrymore Theatre box office (243 West 47th Street) will open early, for one week only, on Monday, July 29 at 10:00 am through Sunday, August 4 at 6:00 pm, for tickets to Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall, and directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. The box office will be open July 29-August 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and August 4 from Noon to 6:00 pm. After August 4, the box office at the Barrymore will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.

The actress, last seen in PROMISED LAND, will take on the role originally played by JoBeth Williams, who starred opposite Craig T. Nelson. The site notes that director Gil Kenan and crew are now on the hunt to cast the male lead.

Tickets for Harold Pinter's Betrayal, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall, and directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols, have only been available for a week, and according to the New York Post, the show has alredy reached $5 million in sales. Michael Riedel writes that the play 'will likely be sold out by the time it plays its first performance Oct. 1.'

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) has announced that Rene Augesen will play Blanche DuBois and Joe Manganiello will play Stanley Kowalski in its first-ever production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, the Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Mark Rucker, the production, which will open Yale Rep's 2013-14 season, will play September 20-October 12, at the University Theatre (222 York Street).

The Ringwald and Olympia Entertainment are thrilled to be bringing the hilariously, bloody Evil Dead: The Musical back to Detroit for its fourth annual engagement. Actor/writer/director Zach Braff today launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the feature film WISH I WAS HERE. Braff will direct and star in the film which is based on an original screenplay he wrote with his brother, Adam Braff.
