Transport Group, the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and a 2007 Obie Award, will present a workshop of the Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical See Rock City & Other Destinations, music by Brad Alexander, book and lyrics by Adam Mathias, June 6 - 13 at The New 42nd Street Studios. The workshop, which is directed by Transport Group artistic director Jack Cummings III, is being presented for an invited audience.

The closing show of Civic Theatre of Allentown?s 2008-2009 stage season is a backstage musical with everything- humor, heart? and a scandalous affair. Genesius, the true story behind the improbable rise of Reading?s own Genesius Theatre, opens May 8th and runs through May 17th in Civic?s 19th Street Theatre. This production is fittingly directed by Civic Artistic Director Bill Sanders, who directed his first show ever at Genesius 30 years ago, and is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of his directorial debut at Civic.
