The Hilberry Theatre Company will present the final production of its 52nd season. The 39 Steps, running tonight, April 10th - 25th, takes a well-known story immortalized on film by Alfred Hitchcock and adds comedic, suspenseful, and fast-paced twists. The play is adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock.

Hilberry Theatre Company to Present THE 39 STEPS, 4/10-25

The Hilberry Theatre Company will present the final production of its 52nd season. The 39 Steps, running April 10th - 25th, takes a well-known story immortalized on film by Alfred Hitchcock and adds comedic, suspenseful, and fast-paced twists. FST announces its second show of the Winter Cabaret season, American Pie. Developed by Richard Hopkins and Rebecca Hopkins, the show opens in Florida Studio Theatre's Goldstein Cabaret on Friday, January 2, 2015. Theater Breaking Through Barriers (TBTB), the critically acclaimed theater company dedicated to advancing artists with disabilities and changing the image of people with disabilities from dependence to independence, presents its fourth annual short play festival, POWER PLAYS -- a collection of five world-premiere short plays by celebrated playwrights Bekah Brunstetter, Bruce Graham, John Guare, David Henry Hwang and Neil LaBute -- with performances to run June 12-29 at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42nd Street). The company is proud to announce that the 8pm performance today, June 14 will feature ASL interpretation by sign language interpreters Sarah Brandenburg and Craig Fogel.

The premise of this incredibly witty comedy is much more about taking chances in life and far less about Hamlet! Onstage at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina this February, this play, which the NY Times called "hilarious," centers around a young, successful television actor who relocates to New York from L.A., where he rents a marvelous apartment in Greenwich Village. With his career in turmoil, the actor named Andrew Rally [played by Ethan Saks] is offered the role of Hamlet. But alas - you guessed it - he hates Hamlet!
