Next Friday, September 12 marks the start of performances for the new stage drama STALKING THE BOGEYMAN at New World Stages (340 W. 50th St.). The play's official Opening Night is set for Monday, September 29 at 8 p.m. (new curtain time).

Rehearsals are now underway for the Off-Broadway premiere of the new drama Stalking the Bogeyman. Actor Bruce Davison certainly needs no introduction. He has starred on stage, screen and television in a multitude of complex roles over the last almost 50 years. He is most remembered for his early film Willard in the 60s and his stunning Oscar-nominated role in Longtime Companion from the early 90s. Davison is currently onstage in Noel Coward's A Song at Twilight at the Pasadena Playhouse, co-starring Sharon Lawrence and Roxanne Hart. In our chat, he talks about his wonderful role in the Coward play and other fascinating career tidbits.

The CD will be released on April 2nd in celebration of National Poetry Month and will be available on Amazon.com and on itunes. There has never been a spoken word recording that has included so many performers reading such a wide variety of poetry, each selection a personal choice of the performer.
