Legged Dogand Untitled Theater Company #61 are pleased to announce the return of THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG, written by Vaclav Havel and Vladimir Moravek, adapted into English by Edward Einhorn. Directed by Henry Akona and featuring music from The Bartered Bride by Bed?ich Smetana (with musical arrangements by Mr. Akona), THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG begins performances on Thursday, March 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 29. Opening Night is Monday, March 10 at 8 PM. The performance schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 8:00 PM; Sunday at 7:00 PM, with an added performance on Monday March 10 at 8 PM. Performances are at 3LD Art and Technology Center (80 Greenwich Street, at Rector, in downtown Manhattan). Tickets are $45, which includes dinner from Korzo; or $20 (without food). National Gallery of Canada Announces Exhibition Program for 2014

The National Gallery of Canada (NGC) is offering visitors a rich exhibition program in 2014. Among the must-sees are major summer exhibitions: The Great War: The Persuasive Power of Photography, beginning on June 27 and coinciding with Canada History Week, which starts July 1; and the much-anticipated, North American exclusive exhibition Gustave Dor (1832-1883): Master of Imagination, organized in partnership with the Muse D'Orsay and opening on June 13. Next fall, the stars of the show will be the Canadian Biennial, which showcases the Gallery's major acquisitions of new Canadian art; and Jack Bush: A Retrospective the first full-scale retrospective of this unique Canadian artist , organized by NGC director Marc Mayer and guest curator Dr. Sarah Stanners. Museum of the Moving Image will present a trio of films by director James Toback, on the occasion of his latest film Seduced and Abandoned (2013), a quasi-documentary made with Alec Baldwin and shot at the Cannes Film Festival in the hopes of raising money for a film project. The Museum will screen Seduced and Abandoned, with personal appearances by Toback and Alec Baldwin, on November 13. Toback will also appear in person to present screenings of Black and White (1999) and his rarely shown documentary The Big Bang (1989) on November 10.

Ennio Morricone, conducting an ensemble of 200 musicians and singers, will have a single performance at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 8 pm. This concert marks the legendary Morricone's first Los Angeles performance.
