On March 22nd, Strand of Oaks (Timothy Showalter) will return with his 6th album, Eraserland to be released via Dead Oceans. The album features the lead single, “Weird Ways” out today. On Eraserland, Showalter is backed by My Morning Jacket members Carl Broemel, Bo Koster, Patrick Hallahan and Tom Blankenship, who played a crucial role in the making of the album. The album also features Jason Isbell. It was produced byKevin Ratterman and recorded at La La Land Studios in Louisville, KY. Eraserlandis available for pre-order today and the die cut, double LP will be available on limited cloudy white vinyl.

BCMF Spring 2019, three 5:00 pm concerts - Saturdays in March and May, a Sunday in April - is marking this first milestone on the heels of the 35th anniversary this past summer of BCMF, the longest-running classical music festival on Long Island.

The holidays are Rob Mathes' favorite time of year - they are the time that Mathes returns home to the Greenwich, Connecticut, area and performs his annual Holiday Concert. This year's concerts are December 14 and 15 at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, and December 16 at the Schimmel Center in New York City. All three concerts are sold out and will feature Rob Mathes, his all-star band, his choir of 'Saints and Friends' and special guests Sting, Vanessa Williams and David Sanborn who will join Rob for a few holiday-themed songs at the Performing Arts Center. Sting and Vanessa Williams will also join Mathes at the Schimmel Center on Sunday for a few songs.

Transforming Pink Floyd's 1979 album The Wall onto the operatic stage, Another Brick in the Wall tells the semi-autobiographical story of a rock star's troubled journey after lashing out at an admiring concertgoer. Another Brick in the Wall completely transforms Roger Waters's original work into a standard operatic form, with eight soloists, 51 chorus members, and a 64-piece orchestra. The opera received its world premiere at Opera de Montreal in March 2017, with ten sold-out performances. Cincinnati Opera is a co-producer of the opera with Productions Opera Concept M.P., Inc., led by executive director Pierre Dufour. The concept and stage direction for the production was created by Dominic Champagne, renowned for his work on such Cirque de Soleil productions as LOVE, Varekai, and Zumanity.
