This fall, the Arts in Education Program (AIE) at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) will present world-renowned photographer Michael Childers' exhibition Author, Author: A Photographic Retrospective of Authors, Playwrights, and Screenwriters (October 29 - November 20, 2015) at the Monroe C. Gutman Library Gallery at Harvard University, 6 Appian Way, Cambridge, MA.

Award-Winning Vocalist Jeff Macauley to Bring Highly Praised Henry Mancini Songbook Show MR. LUCKY to Don't Tell Mama, 11/21

After two years performing his highly praised show, It Was Me, honoring the songbook of famed lyricist Norman Gimbel at New York's Don't Tell Mama, Bistro Award-winning vocalist and BroadwayWorld.com 'Best Male Vocalist' nominee Jeff Macauley presented a new show this past spring at New York's Metropolitan Room. In Mr. Lucky: The Songs of Henry Mancini, Macauley celebrates the music of the iconic composer. Macauley's orchestra for Mr. Lucky is Award-winning Musical Director/pianist and arranger Tex Arnold, with Jon Burr on bass. Now Macauley is bringing Mr. Lucky to Don't Tell Mama on November 21 at 7 pm.

Tribute shows to iconic entertainers celebrating a centennial birthday in 2015 seem to be all the rage this year. But nobody has been celebrated more in cabaret variety shows than Frank Sinatra—and rightly so. Wall Street Journal entertainment columnist Will Friedwald, also a producer and author who wrote the 1997 book Sinatra! The Song Is You—A Singer's Art, this past Saturday presented the biggest (and longest) tribute to “Ol' Blue Eyes” so far this year with Sinatra-Thon at The Cutting Room (co-curated with performer Cary Hoffman), a potpourri of events running from 10 am to an after-midnight jam, and which included varied live entertainment, rare film clips, and panel discussions.

This October 2014, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opens at the Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited six-week run from 16 October to 22 November 2014. Press night is set for Saturday 18 October at 7.45pm. Directed by multi-award-winning director Andrew Keates, the production features an all-star cast of Daniel Boys (Avenue Q, Spamalot, Love Story - also well-known from BBC's Any Dream Will Do, 2007), David Burt (The Merchant of Venice, The Beggars People, Plague Over England), Eve Polycarpou (In The Heights, Mother Courage, Jacques Brel - National Theatre, 1970s) and Gina Beck (Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mise?rables).
